The Capstone Project (Digital Marketing Strategic Plan) module is designed to provide trainees with hands-on experience in developing, executing, and evaluating a comprehensive digital marketing campaign for a real-world organisation. Trainees will work closely with a mentor learning how to develop clear objectives, goals, and desired performance metrics, as well as strategies and scope for marketing communication plans. The mentor will provide guidance and support throughout the development and execution of the campaign, offering feedback and insights to help trainees refine their strategies and achieve their goals.
Trainees will learn how to use a variety of digital marketing tools and platforms, including search engine optimisation (SEO), pay-per-click (PPC) advertising, social media marketing, and email marketing. They will also learn how to track and analyse performance metrics to evaluate the campaign's effectiveness, using tools such as Google Analytics and social media analytics to measure website traffic, engagement, and conversion rates.

Upon successful completion of the WSQ Capstone Project - Digital Marketing Strategic Plan course assessment, participants who have attended at least 75% of the course will receive a SkillsFuture WSQ Statement of Attainment (SOA), along with a Certificate of Attendance by @ASK Training.
Upon completion of this course, trainees should be able to develop and execute a digital marketing campaign, including:
- Outlining the purpose of developing a digital marketing strategic plan for a company
- Defining the scope of a digital marketing plan based on the assessment of the company's internal resources
- Conducting market research and situational analysis to assess a company’s external outlook
- Defining digital marketing objectives and SMART key performance indicators to measure digital marketing campaign performance
- Developing digital marketing campaign plans with budgeting and activity schedules to facilitate implementation of digital marketing strategies
- Evaluating digital marketing campaign performance and recommending optimisation strategies to achieve the marketing objectives identified
